RenovaLase® for Vaginal Atrophy and Vaginal Symptoms
RenovaLase® is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to help women experiencing symptoms associated with vaginal atrophy and changes in vaginal health.
Vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA), sometimes referred to as vaginal atrophy, can occur when oestrogen levels decline during and after menopause. The tissues of the vagina and vulva can become thinner, drier and more sensitive, which may result in symptoms such as vaginal dryness, burning, irritation and discomfort or pain during intercourse.
RenovaLase® uses controlled, gentle laser energy to heat the vaginal tissues. This stimulates a natural tissue response and collagen renewal without causing ablative damage to the vaginal tissue. The aim is to improve the condition of the vaginal tissues and reduce associated symptoms.
RenovaLase® may be considered by women who are experiencing vaginal symptoms during or after menopause, including women who prefer not to use hormonal treatment or who may not be suitable for hormone-based treatment.
At Femplus, RenovaLase® is provided as part of our specialist women’s healthcare service in Dublin, Ireland. Your suitability for treatment is assessed by our medical team, taking your symptoms, medical history and individual circumstances into account.
